Experience is not required, but a basic condition and sense for the unknown adventure. We alternate walking with 4x4 driving to be able to take unknown roads, and high passes, and cover a fair distance.
In about 3.5 hours you fly via Marrakech or fly directly to Ouarzazate, you will be picked up at the airport. A first night in a beautiful Riad Amlal.
On the second day, we leave in the morning, and through the most beautiful palm trees, we go through the Rose Valley to Boutaghrar. We visit the village, the farms and the beautiful gardens. We walk through red rocky terrain to the river, where swimming is an option. We sleep in a unique family hostel, with stargazing in the evening on the beautiful roof terrace.
The next day we leave for the Village Ait Daoud and we walk 9 km in the Imgoun Valley, along the way there is time to get to know the local villages and inhabitants. We rest at their home. Then we walk between beautiful houses and we go back to the Boutaghrar village.
The next day we go to the fertile Dades Valley off-road, 35 km of magical landscape, past red mountains, stray herds of goats, villages, and rivers. We then walk between the wonderfully shaped red rocks of Les patties de singe, or berbère boda,
We continue our route through the highest canyon in Morocco and visit nomads on foot.
We leave via unknown roads towards the beautiful red dunes of Merzouga. We walk in the dunes, drive 4x4, and for those who want there is a camel ride at sunset.
If you want to understand something of the history, a visit to Ait Atta is necessary, the people of Atta, the organization of the Berbers of south-east Morocco. We learn more about the history of Ait Atta. We walk between the most beautiful houses and surprising landscapes.

Together with the guide Ichou we went to the Valley of Roses and the Dades Gorge where we did some amazing hikes. It was an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. The nature is stunning and left me speechless and intensely happy at the same time. It was great to have someone like Ichou who loves and enjoys the nature of his country so much and knows how to share his enthusiasm, great energy and contagious humor. It was amazing to be part of this experience and embrace, enjoy and get in touch with the nature. Body and soul. Ichou is also a skilled guide and excellent driver who guides you safe and sound through the rough and beautiful terrain. Enthusiasm, love and skills, the perfect combination to let you fall in love with Morocco. I would recommend this to every nature lover and I will definitely book another trip with Easy Sahara.
It was my first time in Morocco and I'm delighted to have booked a tour with Easy Sahara. In addition of being a funny and knowledgeable guide, Ichou/Yussef showed us beautiful parts of his country. The night in the dessert was amazing as well as the trip with the camels. We had plenty of good food and meet loads of lovely people. I definitely recommend them!
We were just for one day in Ouarzazate and we wanted to see as much as possible. Thanks to Easy Sahara we built tour around the most important spots that we wanted to visit. The company was super flexible and adjusted the plan to our needs bringing us to all places on our must see list. The driver was super nice and helpful. Strongly recommend especially to those who don’t have rented car, visiting gets much easier.
We had a lovely experience, walking, driving, wandering through the Imgoun Valley, Boutaghrar village, Dades Valley. Beautiful landscape, highest gorgers, and the friendly villages. We finished in Merzouga with the beautiful red dunes. Never forget this trip. Our guide was knowledgeable and a great host.
It was a fantastic trip! We got to see all the highlights of Morocco. The places we stayed were all beyond our expectations and the food provided was all delicious, we were treated like kings to every meal and stay. Our guide Ichou kept us entertained during the long, beautiful scenic car rides. He knows a lot about Berber culture, he drives very save and took us to unknown beautiful places. We would recommend him to anyone who wish to explore the Moroccan desert and culture.
