If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Morocco, a camel trek into the desert is a must-do activity. Before setting out, your guide will take you into the village to buy a traditional head scarf to protect you from the sun. Then, you'll climb onto your camel and journey out into the vast desert landscape.
On the first night, most tours will stop at a pre-set campsite at the base of some large sand dunes. Here, you'll enjoy a cooked dinner, perhaps some music, and have the chance to explore the surrounding area under a blanket of stars. If you're only on a one-day trip, you'll wake up early the next morning, have breakfast, and head back before the heat of the day sets in.
Together with the guide Ichou we went to the Valley of Roses and the Dades Gorge where we did some amazing hikes. It was an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. The nature is stunning and left me speechless and intensely happy at the same time. It was great to have someone like Ichou who loves and enjoys the nature of his country so much and knows how to share his enthusiasm, great energy and contagious humor. It was amazing to be part of this experience and embrace, enjoy and get in touch with the nature. Body and soul. Ichou is also a skilled guide and excellent driver who guides you safe and sound through the rough and beautiful terrain. It was my first time in Morocco and I'm delighted to have booked a tour with Easy Sahara. In addition of being a funny and knowledgeable guide, Ichou/Yussef showed us beautiful parts of his country. The night in the dessert was amazing as well as the trip with the camels. We had plenty of good food and meet loads of lovely people. I definitely recommend them!
We were just for one day in Ouarzazate and we wanted to see as much as possible. Thanks to Easy Sahara we built tour around the most important spots that we wanted to visit. The company was super flexible and adjusted the plan to our needs bringing us to all places on our must see list. The driver was super nice and helpful. Strongly recommend especially to those who don’t have rented car, visiting gets much easier.
We had a lovely experience, walking, driving, wandering through the Imgoun Valley, Boutaghrar village, Dades Valley. Beautiful landscape, highest gorgers, and the friendly villages. We finished in Merzouga with the beautiful red dunes. Never forget this trip. Our guide was knowledgeable and a great host.
It was a fantastic trip! We got to see all the highlights of Morocco. The places we stayed were all beyond our expectations and the food provided was all delicious, we were treated like kings to every meal and stay. Our guide Ichou kept us entertained during the long, beautiful scenic car rides. He knows a lot about Berber culture, he drives very save and took us to unknown beautiful places. We would recommend him to anyone who wish to explore the Moroccan desert and culture.
